This peal was composed about the year 1840, by the late Mr. Vincent Bradbury, of Sheffield, who was a respected member of the parish church company for upwards of fifty years. Mr Bradbury died in January 1877 in his 83rd year. The peal was first rung at Sheffield on May 15th 1856, and was then conducted by the late John Lomas.
